The first is the Briccole Collection, an extraordinary source of wood flooring. Briccole are the groups of wood piles, used to mark navigable channels, and sometimes mooring pylons in the Venice Lagoon. These ancient timbers, primarily Chestnut and Oak, have been exposed to salty water for decades. That makes the planks extremely hardy and full of character.

The Maxi Floor Collection derives its uniqueness from the sizes of the planks, with widths of 19 11/16″ (500mm) and lengths of up to 13′ 1 1/2″ (4m). Sensational dimensions, exclusive hand finishing and extra thickness to ensure perfect stability make the natural pleasure of wooden floors extraordinary.

CoorItalia Architectural Elements offers options for maxi floors that represent the most imposing wooden flooring created by Fabbio Design: Wave, Lived and Base.

The timeless charm of this line imposes new canon of beauty, with its exceptional width of 19 11/16″ width and length of 13′ 1.5″. Sensational dimensions, exclusive hand finishing and extra thickness to ensure perfect stability make the natural pleasure of wooden floors extraordinary.

A quest for perfection in all details makes Wave parquet a floor that allows you to experience the thrill of walking on timeworn boards. An exclusive process reproduces even the slight undulations that form naturally around the knots in wood over years of use, generating an antique effect that is incredibly real to touch and observe.

Lived re-proposes the opulent atmosphere of ancient Venetian residences, when boards of different lengths and widths were put together to form attractive, original patterns. The noblest European timber is processed by the clever hands of master craftsmen, the only people who can make the refined finishes and produce works of art reminiscent of bygone days.

The Briccole Collection

CoorItalia Architectural Elements offers Briccole, the groups of wood piles used to mark navigable channels, and sometimes mooring pylons in the Venice Lagoon.

These ancient timbers, primarily Chestnut and Oak, having been exposed to salty water and weathered for many years, offers a much higher resistance and particular characteristics than any other comparable wood. Of course, because of its origin, it can display nail marks, wood knots and sea mollusk holes. Its charm, character and fascination is immediately perceived by the world traveled client.

Thanks to the pre-treatment in desiccating oven and through the multi-layer sandwich paneling, the flooring material guarantees a high resistance to warping, which makes it perfectly suitable for any type of floor heating.

The surface can be further smoothed down at the factory before shipment and installation, to allow for barefoot traffic.

Thickness: 5/8″ or 3/4″ (nominal, actual 17 or 20mm)
Width: 4-3/4″, 6″ or 7″ (nominal, actual 120, 150 or 180mm)
Length: 59″ or 79″ (nominal, actual 1500 or 2000mm)
Obviously the same modules can be used as wall covering, or for other type paneling.
