SARATOGA STEEL & WOOD PROJECT
BROMBAL’s metal-wood collection flips the status quo of Metal-Clad wood windows on its head by building a steel, or bronze unit which has narrow profiles and is strong enough to hold large dual pane glazing. However, the inside is clad in wood, allowing for a warmer aesthetics in the interior for those who do not care for metal. The additional advantage of the Metal-Wood windows is that the steel profile is thermally broken, thus allowing great energy efficiency.
In selecting COORITALIA’s metal wood windows and doors, Louie Leu obtained both of his goals in maximizing the views by using narrow profile frames and minimizing energy impacts by using a thermally broken frame.
